How would I enter the expiration date for produce and other foods that don't have set expiration dates?
Produce do not have set expiration dates, which we are fully aware of. We have special produce settings on the application. Instead of entering the expiration date, like on packaged foods, you can set the number of days or weeks that the product will spoil and you hope to use it by. Remember, all of our entries are editable after you save them so if you find out that your produce is still good after you set their "expiration" dates, you can go back and edit them. Or, you can use our produce settings and automatically add a week or day to their expiration date.
Can I use this application for medications as well?
Yes, you can use this application for medications, or just about anything with an expiration date.
How can I easily add multiple entries at a time?
When you finish adding your first entry, instead of clicking the "save" button, simply click the "save and add more" button, when you click that button, you automatically get a fresh new entry so you do not need to constantly go back to the home page.
What if I do not want to save my entry?
If you do not want to save your entry, click the "discard" button.
How do I delete a food once I finish eating it?
First, you need to go to the "My Foods"page to access your food inventory. Then you can search for your food using the search bar, keep in mind, items that only have a picture will not show up in the search. You can also sort the foods alphabetically, by expiration date, or by tag to easily locate a food.
